Jeff Badler
For beginner and advanced beginner players
Jeff had a 40 year career running a fine jewelry company on Park Ave. A client introduced him to bridge and he learned at our Club and developed a passion for the game.
Honors gave him the opportunity to teach newcomers. Jeff’s goal has always been to share his love and enthusiasm for bridge. At the beginning of the pandemic, he quickly adapted to teaching online and strived to perfect this method. His students love the classes and he noticed they became players more quickly.
He’s invested hundreds of hours to create notes, clear and concise explanations of hands and recordings.
Jeff’s specialty is teaching absolute beginner through advanced beginner students. He has seemingly unlimited patience and is well liked by his students. The reviews of his classes tell the story.
Jeff teaches all of the Beginner Series, as well as the Just Beyond Beginner Bridge series.
Jeff coordinates newcomers to our Beginner program. He may be reached at jeff@badlerbridge.com or by texting 917-816-6969.

Shlomit Rind
For advanced beginner and low-intermediate players
Shlomit’s professional background is physical therapy. She dedicated much of her professional career to helping patients recover by exercising their body. Now, as a full time bridge teacher, Shlomit feels that it is just as important to exercise the mind.
While teaching the beginner bridge series, Shlomit saw the need for students who completed the beginner series to have an opportunity to put into practice all that they have learned. She developed a new series called P.A.T.—Putting It All Together. You play hands that randomly cover all the techniques and conventions you learned in all of the beginner courses. Spanning from bidding with and without competition, declarer play and defense. When the class was first announced at the Club, it was an instant hit. Now Shlomit teaches advanced beginner and low-intermediate courses.
