Upcoming in-person special events
Two major duplicate game starting up again.
Would you believe that winter may finally be behind us?!
Omer’s Monday evening Open duplicate game will restart this week. We already have 4.5 tables registered.
The plan is to hold these 24-board games at a 6-minute-a-board pace that will have you out by 9:00 pm.
Please RSVP as soon as you know you’ll be playing.
Our Monday morning 299er gamewill restart May 11th with special back-to-back events….A Royal STaC game on the 11th and a STARDUST Week game on the 18th.
April Special Events:
Gold for Good.
Our Club’s Gold for Good annual fundraiser event will be held on Wednesday afternoon, April 22nd.
Gold for Good is an annual fundraising event for the ACBL Charity Foundation. Individual players are eligible to win gold points based on their results in at least two pair games of 18 boards or more. This applies at the in-person club, online at a Virtual Club, ACBL’s The Real Deal, or the ACBL Clubhouse, or even playing in a Sectional or Regional (similar to a Side Series at a tournament). Players may choose which days to compete during the series. Note: at least one of these games must be played in a face-to-face club.
What is the registration fee? Each participant will pay $30 for event registration. (This is in addition to your club or tournament card fees.)
100% of this fee will be donated to the Foundation to support the good work they do.

This year’s Spring Regional
Please know that even with being able to accommodate close to 50 tables, we are already within a few tables of selling out each day!
For the first time ever, Honors will be hosting a true Regional Tournament.
This event will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 24, 25, 26.
Preregistration is required.

Great Job Partner! 2.0 This is the continuation of the original Great Job Partner, with more declarer play techniques taught to make you a better declarer, Eight 2-hour lessons taught in person at the Club and simultaneously streamed online, allowing for remote participation. Starts April 9 Thurs 1-3 PM Since the material is independent, it is not necessary to have taken the first course to take this one. $535 in person (includes lunch,) or $480 for streamers. There will be lots of practice playing hands every week.
New 2 over 1 Game Force and Alternate Game Forcing Conventions
Eight 2-hour lessons taught in person at the Club and simultaneously streamed online, allowing for remote participation. Jeff will dive deep into the modern 2 over 1 bidding system along with the associated Forcing NT bids. Then he will teach three alternative game forcing conventions. When you have all in your bidding arsenal, you can choose the one that best describes your hand. This will enable your partnership to get to the ideal contracts more easily.
