SECOND HAND LOW.

“This week we will begin our study of the principle of second hand low – that is, when you are the second player to play to a trick, you usually play a low card and let your partner defend your side’s interest in winning the trick.  We will play hands where this is the standard correct play, and we will progress to see situations that are exceptions to the basic principle.”
If you intend to take one of Jeff’s classes, you should let him know ahead of time. Often there are pre-class hand outs and notes.
