“PLAY HANDS THAT I PLAYED IN THE SUMMER NATIONAL TOURNAMENT!!
This supervised play emphasizes duplicate bridge matchpoint results – some hands will emphasize duplicate bridge strategy. Previously we learned scoring and how scores are converted into matchpoints in duplicate bridge scoring. This week we will play real hands from recent duplicate games that I played in that have teaching merit. Sometimes your opponents play well, and you achieve a below average score, and there is nothing that you can do about it. Sometimes you outbid the opponents and get a great score (at least when you play the hand well). Sometimes you and your partner defend well to obtain a good score. Be prepared to expand your understanding of real bridge play.” If you intend on taking one of Jeff’s classes, you should let him know ahead of time. Often there are pre-class handouts and notes.
